What do the Cougars need to do to improve from last year's disappointing 0-11 Team which made it to the playoffs?

You know something is messed up with our playoff system when a team can go 0-10 and make the playoffs while another can go 5-5 and miss the playoffs.

^ That is something that definitely needs to be changed

Agreed, but seems like a difficult one to fix.
On the topic, it looks as though McLean could have another difficult year. They play a lot of teams that are in a much higher classification than they are (Marshall & Daviess - 6A, Breckinridge & Grayson - 5A). Their district could be difficult with possibilities of wins against Butler and Todd, although Todd was impressive in their first year with Coach Jones last year.

McLean does not have the numbers to be consistently competitive in football but they beat Paducah Tilghman two years ago.

Numbers? Do you mean as far as kids in the school or just the coach's ability to keep kids out on the field? In either regard both can be a problem for smaller schools and being competitive in football. That win 2 years ago is quite impressive in reflection.
