14th Region went through a growing year in 2010/2011.

I do believe that 2011/2012 will make for a great basketball season in the 14th region.

Anyone could take the easy way and say Hazard or Perry will win the region and more then likely be right. But as of RIGHT NOW (which don't mean much) I would say Buckhorn is the #1 team.

The only 5 that can compete for the title, NOT IN ANY PARTICULAR ORDER....

Letcher lost one kid, they will still be tough
Knott lost some good players, but hear good things about transfers and new coach again
Buckhorn has one player, but he can take them a long ways
Hazard has some young talent, lost some problems, will be better than this year
Perry will have the most talent, but that always don't get wins

As usual the 14th will go through the 54th district. 3 out of the 4 teams will compete for the title, all about the draw again. Letcher and Knott will walk through their easy district, the 55th and 56th couldn't put their teams together and win. Still wondering if Noble will even be at Breathitt, he would make a great assistant somewhere, especially when his son would come with him.
