The Gaslight Holiday Classic host Chargers (11-0), No. 1 in The Courier-Journal’s preseason coaches’ poll, thumped Carver High (Tenn) thanks to Zach Price who had 15 points and 13 rebounds in the first round of their Gaslight Holiday Classic in boys’ basketball. The Chargers held Carver to single digits points in all four quarters. DeMichael Jackson contributed 10 points for J-town. Clarence Wilson scored 16 points for Carver.
