Ryle 2011 schedule/preview
#1
return of Travis Elliott look forward to see him have a monster year due to rules loss of 19 starting seniors but upcoming jr & sr class looks impressive.. Rumor also has that instead of playing highlands twice will be highlands & possible matchup with a Ohio school I've heard colerains name thrown around. Making there schedule district games vs. Sk Boone Campbell Cty & Dixie non-district highlands & colerains & probably Conner Cooper & other options could be Ncc cov cath.... Anyone else with insight

I think the Colerain game has been on the horizon for 2 years. I'm pretty sure thats a done deal. That might be ugly for Ryle.
#3
Ryle is playing colerain rumored 1st game of season & they are playing a team from columbus too i hope Warner isn't too confident in his team after the best season in ryle history.. but they graduated 22 seniors which 17 were starters...

When you cross that river it's a whole different animal.

^ yes it is. Ryle does not have the horses for this. I do not expect Elliott to be effective against a team with the size of Colerain if they cannot pass the ball

Ryle will gain a lot from the experience in how the coaches will have to prepare the team, and for for the motivation it will provide through summer workouts to be ready for the game. I agree, it will be tough to win with a one dimensional offense.

You have to give them credit for stepping up and taking on the challenge. One of their district rivals has been trying to get better by scheduling Shroder Padeia and New Richmond, two of the well-known Cincinnati powerhouse teams.

^ oh, I'm not downing them at all. They are in our district and I have NOTHING but respect for the Raiders. When I said they don't have the horses, it was more directed towards the difference between NKY football and Cincy football. Colerain will be luck to have 2-3 kids who play both ways. NKY football will have 8-9. That makes a tremendous difference over the course of a season

thats a great looking schedule. the colerain game will most likely be ugly on the scoreboard, but i think it will humble the raiders right before district play. Columbus DeSales will be a tough game. They're one of the best mid-size school programs in Ohio and they usually hang with a couple of the GCL schools when they play. I'm thinking they land in the range of 8-2 and 6-4, but come playoff time, if they're healthy, they could make a great run

I thought that was KY's DeSales is why I highlighted it blue. This came straight from Ryle's Website

Elliott is going to be lucky to make it out of the Colerain game alive. Lowering his head into a Colerain linebacker at a non contact camp and running his mouth the entire camp isn't going to do anything but put a huge target on his back.

His attitude leaves a lot to desired ...

When did this take place?

This past week ...
We will see how good Elliott is after Joe Bolden tags him a couple times.
But then again ... I doubt he will get past the LOS to begin with.

I might have to go watch this game sounds interesting.

I would save your money and your time.

Colerain is going to beat Ryle by 70 ... and don't be surprised if they don't call off the dogs at all.

The situation this week was pathetic at best.

The over/under is set at 50 yards ... and I am taking the under.

I wouldn't be surprised if Colerain whoops up on Ryle, actually I'll be surprised if they don't, but i know coach bolden wouldn't intentionally run the score up on anyone because an opponents best player trucked a player from colerain. The goal for Colerain in this game is 1. Win and 2. keep Ryle healthy so they can win as many games as they can to help supply Harbin points for Colerain, and get them in the playoffs.

Elliot is not the 1st one to piss off a Colerain kid, and he wont be the last either.

I am sorry but whoever told you this is full of it. I was at the camp and I did see Elliott and a couple of Colerain kids compete in 1 on 1's and he won everytime. At no time did he talk smack or any of the stuff you are claiming. Colerain will be hard to beat but Ryle will not shy away, glad to see Coach Warner push the limits on the schedule, hopefully it will prepare them for a long run in the playoffs
