PLAYERS SAID "they hated coach smith at practice",BUT LOVED HIM AFTER THEY WON STATE CHAMIONSHIP AFTER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!THEY UNDERSTOOD WHY HE PUSHED THEM TO BE THE BEST.THE GREAT THING IS HE ALSO TAUGHT THEM A VALUABLE LESSON IN LIFE.SO MANY PEOPLE ON THESE POSTS SAY " i didnt respect the coach" or" i couldnt stand the coach". GET REAL, COACHES WILL ALWAYS **** YOU OFF! THEY'RE NOT GONNA LET YOU LAY DOWN AND WHINE AND CRY. THEYRE JOB IS TO PUSH YOU TO WORK HARDER EVERY DAY.SO FOR ALL YOU GUYS SAYING YOU QUIT CAUSE THAT COACH ****ED ME OFF "GROW UP AND BE A MAN"!DADDY OR MOMMY NEVER DISCIPLINED YOU AT HOME, YOU SIT AROUND ON YOUR X BOX, EATIN DORITOS AND DRINKIN PEPSI. NO EXCUSE FOR BEING A QUITTER, DONT BLAME THE COACHES CAUSE THEY WERE MEAN TO YOU, BLAME YOURSELF AND YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY FOR NEVER MAKIN YOU STRIKE A LICK AND NEVER EVER BUSTIN YOUR REAR END.
SO NO MORE " i quit because i didnt like that coach".I GUESS THAT MEANS YOULL QUIT YOUR JOB, CAUSE YOU DONT LIKE YOUR BOSS. I GUESS THAT MEANS YOULL DIVORCE YOUR WIFE, CAUSE ITS THAT TIME OF THE MONTH, NO EXCUSE FOR BEING A QUITTR!

Yeah i would say some coaches **** alot of ppl off but hey they have a pretty hard job but i can see were there coming from all they want is the best from you so try and give it to them............

That's a good attitude and if the rest of the fresh. class feel that way and have that attitude and stick together, might be the class to make a statement in a few years!

Well i heard that if the coach stays on you the most, it means you are good and i'm glad my coach's stayed on to me b/c i would have not done what i have today!

I played for Hillard Howard and one day he absolutley lambsted me in front of the whole team and half the cheerleaders in practice one day for jumping offsides and he could tell it made me mad. I didnt say anything to him and didnt throw a fit and I WAS TICKED! but after practice he pulled me aside and told me that it wasnt personal he was just trying to teach me a lesson and that he was getting his point across. And you know what I never jumped offsides that whole year. I get Vinces point and one of those cry babies he talked about probably wouldve quit over that deal.

I dont believe I ever met a person who ever quit a sport in high school who didnt regret it later on.
