I hope that was a joke, SD.

I absolutely had never heard of him until I got in the car and heard them talk about him. I had figured it was CC's to lose, and I guess because the Yankees got eliminated, so did CC's hope. Besides the win total being so low, I believe the comment I heard was that he had nine No-Decisions. And in those nine, his ERA was just over 1. That is incredible, and shows how bad the Mariners really were. But no, I'm being dead honest, I had no clue who he was.

i too, have never heard of him.
congrats though.

Good for King Felix.

Great ERA and strikeouts, but played in much weaker division than C.C. and Price. I don't think he should have won.

A much weaker division but a very much weaker team too. He didn't have anything near the run support lPrice or CC had. Felix pitched more innings than both of those. I think Hernandez was the right choice.

His stats were overblown due to the weaker competition. Price and C.C. also pitched less innings because their managers were keeping them fresh for the post season. Hernandez is a great talent but if he pitched in the east division his ERA and strikeouts would be much different and would not be as good as the totals of Price or Sabathia.

I think he would have loved to pitch in the AL East! 4-1 - 2.4 ERA, 3 shutouts

Against the following American League East

NYY: 3-0 2.8 ERA
Boston: 1-0 2.5 ERA
Tampa: No Start
Baltimore: 1-0 2.1 ERA
Toronto: 0-1 2.3 ERA

Not bad for six starts, lets wonder what would have happened had he pitched against them for an entire seaons and had pitched against Tampa. Great pitcher, no doubt, but night in and out the others had it tougher.
