Lincoln Co.(4-6) is the #3 seed in 5A district 7 who will be traveling to Clay Co.(7-3) who is the #2 seed in 5A district 8! As unpredictable as the Tigers has been at times I think Lincoln County has a legitimate shot at winning this depending on which Clay County comes out of that locker room.

I think this is one of the more interesting 3-2 seed games this week:

Lincoln has been playing better but the last two weeks they have beaten a Mercer team that has quit and a terrible Garrard team. They are improving but I don't think they've improved that much.

Don't know how you can say they have quit when they had Pulaski down 21-0 after the 1st quarter of their game. If they come out like that against Harlan County, the Black Bears could be in for a fight.

And as soon as something doesn't go their way they roll over. That game proves my point exactly. Then outscored 47-3 last three quarters. If they come out the 3rd quarter and score 21 after being down at half then they are fighting. I also know some people over there in Mercer and they cashed it in a few weeks ago.

From what understood in that game, Logan Joseph of Pulaski put a monster hit on Mercer's QB and after that point they never scored another TD leading me to believe that he might have been injured or something.

Yeah, that was it . . . one hit turned the game, lol.
All that Mercer's QB did to contribute to the 21-0 lead was hand the ball off.

I don't know what has happened to the Tigers but they have completely fallen apart, this team doesn't even remotely resemble the team that I watched at Scott County. Its as if the players have quit. I wouldn't be surprised to see Lincoln whip them easily this Friday. Its all about which team shows up

I have talked to a few clay county families. There are really banged up, and its a couple good players . So I am thinking it will be closer than thought . Ill go with Clay County 28-21
