Why isnt Cory Davenport on this list? He has 1,150 yards on 87 attempts in only 7 games.

These are Based off the KHSAA website. Your have to ask the head coach of each school why they didn't post there.

Same as Dontae Bradley, Cooper - who has 1,800 yards

Ive noticed that all these players have played 8-9 games.

Maybe they base it off the most games played.

Davenport should definatly be on the list though, hes had an amazing season.

Only the top 15 rushers from the teams who reported stats are listed. Stats from the final regular season game have not been added to everybody's totals yet. Davenport's season totals through last week's game apparently did not place him in the top 15.

Davenport didnt even play against Madison Southern or McCreary Central. He had 160 yards and 4 TD's last night against Harlan Co.

According to the ADI, Jude had 1,826 yards in the first 8 games. Against Montgomery County he had around 250 yards and 190 yards against Belfry. Which should place him around the 2,200 yards so far.

I think that WSIP had him at 257 against Montgomery and 197 against Belfry. If I am posting the correct numbers, that would put him at 2,260.

I wasn't sure of the exact yardage from the Montgomery County and Belfry games. I was pretty close though.

I'm just trying to quote those from memory. Perhaps they are incorrect, but I think that is what they said.

Corey Lyle won the reg season rushing title, barely beating Jude. Great season for both.

Jude had 3258 yards as reported in the Louisville Courier Journal. Did Lyle have more yards than that?

I saw somewhere that JC (who does not report stats on the KHSAA website) had like 5400 or 5500 yards in 2010 as a team. I think it was in the Paintsville Newspaper???

I said regular season. Judes # included playoffs. Lyle out rushed him by 20 some yrds in the first 10 games(reg season).

Jude and Lyle were both very fun to watch this past season. Very explosive with a lot of speed. I wish them both the best.

It also blows that schools forget about posting there last game or two, it could change everything.
Got a list on the total yardage for the top teams?
