What is the best? I think the gears of war campaigns are the best i've ever played.

Never played Gears 1 but I have to say Gears 2 was pretty good.

Don't know if many are into Resident Evil, but Resident Evil 5 was pretty kick ***.

I agree the Gears of War campaign's are pretty fun.

Call of Duty's campaign's are pretty awesome as well.

The Gears campaigns are very fun.

I found the Uncharted games to be very good as well. Some of the best writing I have seen in a game.

Metal Gear Solid series is by far the best.
Modern Warfare, Final Fantasy X, Bioshock are good too.
