Who does this?
#1
For the past couple of months I have been gagging every single time that I rinse my mouth out after I brush my teeth. I have heard a few people say that it happens to them...

Who here does it and why in the heck does it happen?
#2
Well.............. i dont really know.
#3
Gee, thanks. lol

Just wondering if it was so odd for people to do it.
#4
I know I don't. But it's not something you're normally around people while they're doing it, but I'm sure there are some out there. There are people otu there for anything and everything.
#5
tooth paste makes me gag as well. always have.
#6
Is it the toothpaste or is it when you rinse your mouth out and go to spit the water and toothpaste back out??

Mine really gets me when I am rinsing, I will gag, my mouth will fly open, water goes everywhere, and there I am hanging over the sink getting all teary eyed dryheaving. I don't think that's right. lol
#7
That does not sound like a good problem to have unless you can go forever without brushing. EEEEWWWWWWTongueuke:
#8
just dont spit the water out. just kidding it could be some type of reflux problem
#9
Try using less water, and rinse your mouth more than once. It may take longer but I don't think I could stand dry heaving over the sink. The whole house would think I'm dieing.

I rinse MULTIPLE times.

It happens EVERY morning.

I gag and go on. It's not the fact that people hear it, it really doesn't feel good AT ALL.

I was diagnosed with acid reflux but my gag reflex only acts up during this.

I dunno what to do.
#11
try less water and see if that helps, or if you have Sorry for suggesting it agian.
#12
I do that sometimes.. idk why
#13
It happens to me often. Usually because I have put the toothbrush too far into my mouth. Matter of fact, I am at the point where I am nervous if I don't do it (or at least--I don't feel like my teeth are as clean).

I do have a very narrow esphogus (spelling?). I have a feeling that could have something to do with it.

The toothbrush is out of my mouth when I do it.

I am going to try less water the next time I brush my teeth.

I don't know if its a medical thing like with my throat or just a really bad gag reflex.
#15
I do it too...It's not the toothpaste for me but when I brush my back teeth or the back of my teeth I do it and I dry heave when I brush my toung the least little bit and I almost throw up when I spit the toothpaste out...I don't understand but oh well...
