Reds win for their 5th game in 6 games. Great offensive game for the Redlegs. Jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a tree run homer by Johnny Gomes, followed by a homer by Bruce that was then called back. Then after a Marlins run, Ryan Hanigan pops a 3 run homer to push the lead to 6-1. In the 5th inning Arroyo allows 4 runs to make it a 6-5 game. Later the Reds push to another significant lead of 8-5 and then give it up on a 3 run homer. Going into the 11th the Reds score 2 runs on a 2 out bloop by Votto. And then one by Phillips. Cordero comes on to save and the Reds move to 2 games over .500.

Though inning for Arroyo after 4 solid ones. 5 runs on 6 hits and no walks. 4 in the 5th inning. Hope that they Reds can continue this solid play into a few more games.

When does the Reds and Braves play? Or do they?

They play a two game series with he Braves on the 19th and 20th of May. Then a home series with the Braves on the 30th and 31th of July and 1st of August

Very impressive start to season. Hopefullly it will be a good one. 1/2 game behind 1st now.
