State Championship Rings a Shame!

Hey many schools can get rings if the boosters dont pitch in,and they should have plenty rich people that will help buy them and NOWAY should schools pay for the rings,but many believe its their responsibility,but they are WRONG...I know that lots parents can afford to pay for thier kids.

Boyle had ring ceremony today and EVERY player received their rings. I hope this officially ends this thread.

i think that the teams that win the State Championships, the school should pay for them, not the players or parents, i mean the players and parents put there dedication into getting them that far, so why can't the school return the favor and get the players there rings?

Our Boyle Co Rebel football team did receive rings today. I know our QBC did raise the money for the rings through donations through the community with some parents donating money for rings, also. FYI: Our QBC supports our team with any need for the team and we sure didn't let them down on this. Just so the football community knows, the QBC also provides $70,000 each year to our team for donations, water, food, and special transportation (black buses) and any thing the coaches ask for.

The reason it was delay was not for money reasons, it was a delay on getting the part of the order. Our coach decided we wait and everyone gets theirs the same day. And of course, we stand behind him! Coach French runs this program and we support him and all our coaches because they really are the best in the state.

Man, these rings are huge! Alot bigger than I thought they'd be... Now, sadly, it's time to "officially" end the 2009 Boyle County Football season.
