Just read about this on Catspause and KSR.... So sad to hear this kind of story a few weeks after signing day. Apparently this is not the first time Vandy has had to go through something like this. Really is a hard situation. Thoughts go out to the family.

Heard about this and it broke my heart.

I actually saw Bennett play in person twice this past season and he was a great player and VERY respected amongst his teammates and thier community.

The senior class at McEachern has decided to forego their Senior trip and give the money to Bennett's mother instead.
