What on earth has happened to Powell County? They had it going early in the season but are in a tailspin at the worst possible time of the year, right before the tournaments.

No matter who won this game, you have to appreciate the irony. Chris Baker current coach at Whitley, Brian Hall Current Coach at Powell. Baker former coach of Breathitt, Hall former coach at Breathitt. Both bringing their teams into the coliseum, a place were no matter how much they won it wasn't good enough. Now they both bring sub-par teams in and Baker gets the best of his replacement.

Guys, did you really think we were that good just because we won some games early against a very weak schedule? There are only five or six good teams in the 14th region this year. I know we have a winning record this year but, just like our old rivals,Wolfe, our wins have come against teams that are not very good this season. If you want to see how good a team is, look at the teams they are beating, and check out their record for the year and who they have beaten. Then you can get a better gage on just how good or bad a team is. Bottom line, we are not very good this year.
