I know he is not far from the record. Probably even single digits now. But does anyone know the exact amount?

Im thinking after the All A Classic down in Richmond, he only needed 16. They've played 2 games since then. (Belfry and North Laurel). So im not sure any how many steals he came up with in them two games.
Anybody know?

He will set the record and it will be hard for someone to break.

While I was searching the records for Elisha's numbers I was unable to find his stats, I suppose it is because he is still playing but I found out these facts. 3 times SV as a team has the most steals in a season:
#1 All-time with 561 in 2007.
#4 All-time with 506 in 2009.
#8 All-time with 423 in 2008.
2010 records are yet to be posted of course, but Elisha Justice is the main reason SV has these 3 state records!

Very very interesting. But man their defense is just as great this year so I would like to see how it progresses.

The loss of Logan Bryant will keep this team from matching the 2007 team record for steals. IMO Logan was just as good at getting steals as Elisha, he just had trouble staying on the court due to foul trouble.

but that doesn't make sense cause logan was there in 08 and 09 as well and had more playing time in those 2 years...

i think logan was just as good with steals as elisha as well.

Logan was much more aggressive on defense than Elisha. But a lot of Valley's steals come off of deflections and Elisha can thank Logan for 60% of his steals.
