I dont know-looking at the schedule Madison Central has played-I cant see them at #2
in the state-NOW NOW let me explain-teams they have beaten and that teams current record are= Bourbon Co.(9-15) Harrison Co.(10-12) GRC (10-9) East Jess.(8-12) Middlesboro(7-9) Pendleton Co.(10-14) Madison Southern (6-14) Eastern(12-11)
Henery Clay(4-15) Lafayette(9-13) Western Hills(6-12) A combined win loss record of
91 wins vs. 136 losses...Folks if you want to be at the top you have to play the top.Sure I know Mad Cntrl. has also played DUNBAR(15-5)Franklin co.(17-5)Lex Cath(16-4)and Rockcastle Co.(18-4)GREAT wins no doubt.But way to many patsy teams on their schedule to put them in the top 10.# 17 at the best.I know I'll get blasted for this

First of all, allow me to say thank you. Thank you for your input, it is ALWAYS greatly appreciated.

Yes, many of the teams they have played have not been impressive. You also have to look at Dunbar, Franklin, Rockcastle, and Lexington Christian (you forgot to mention them) are all teams in my top 20. (Which I sill be the first to say is not anything like the AP polls or anything like that.)

Madison Central also defeated some good teams like Anderson County (Unbeaten in the 8th Region) and Casey County (WAAAY better than their record indicates, I am sure many would agree).

The simple fact of the matter is, they are 23-1! It is REALLY hard to take a team that has not lost since December, (when everyone else is losing around them) and drop them in ranking just because a great team lost to another great team. Great teams find a way to win those games, Marion and Madison Central have done it all year.

One MAJOR disadvantage for M.C. is that the 11th Region is down this year. Lexington Catholic, Henry Clay and to an extent, Lafayette have been disappointing. Hard to blame them for those being bad teams this year.

I did not forget to mention Dunbar, Franklin, Rockcastle, as I said those were good wins for MC.LCA on the other hand is not that good a team/Casey has played fantastic and beating them was great-but play this caliber of teams day in and day out-and see if you only have one loss.I seriously doubt it since this would push you even harder and cause you to play without some of your starters 2-3-4 maybe even 5 games because of injury due to fatigue.Im not saying Madison Central is a bad team-not #2.HEY but this is your poll and I respect that and you have done well I just have my opinion as do you.

Madison Central has beaten #6,#13,#15 and #20, and you believe they should at best be ranked #17? Madison Central finishes the season with a rematch with #6 Frankilin Co, Also two possible top 25 teams in Rowan Co. and Bryan Station. This sounds like a rock solid schedule to me, and I seriously have no idea what your'e talking about. Madison Central is also are 23-1, which me they didnt get traped in a lazy game.

I miscommunicated. I understood that you mentioned Dunbar, Franklin and Rock. I just meant that you forgot LCA. My apologies there.

The Northern schools beating up on each other make it VERY difficult to organize these teams. I have been tempted to make a top 30, JUST so I can put a team like Sacred Heart that plays a BRUTAL schedule in the mix. There is something to be said for scheduling a hard schedule and playing your heart out every night.

Everyone above E-Town has been unbeaten this week. From E-Town down is a MESS! The Rankings are very difficult this week.

#6 Franklin Co. lost to UN RANKED Shelby Co. and Franklin Co.is by far over rated.
And-though they did pull it out/Madison Central had to fight for their life to beat Laf.
I believe they won by 1 maybe 2 pts. and Laf.is down this year.
