does anybody know the score from last night???

I think it was Virgie 64 Elkhorn City 25. Pretty dominant performance by the Eagles as I understand it.

I think you may need to check your facts. This was a very competitive game @ Virgie and Mr. Tomlin was an official that night.

Ok here are the facts.
EC 17 Virgie 25 at the half. Pretty competitive. The second half was pretty one sided. I believe the final score was something close t0 59 - 32. Could have been worse but Coach Rowe pulled his starters around the 3 minute mark in the 4th quarter and EC made a run of 6 - 8 points in the end.
The first half was competitive. The 2nd half was pretty much Eagle basketball.
What does Mr Tomlin have to do with anything?

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was told by those who were there that Virgie won by about 40 points and had liberal substitution in the 2nd half.... If I was wrong about my facts or postings, I am sincerely sorry. I don't know anything about the refs, but I make it a good policy to not blame them for games.

No School Admin the refs were not a factor in the game in anyway. You have no need to apologize in my opinion.

Congrats to Virgie.

The first half was pretty competitive but as for the refs it was more like they took over in the second and not Virgie, I feel sorry for the rest of the teams that have to travel to VIRGIE. You better wear two pair of shorts because you will take a spanking if the players on the court can't do it the two on the court with whistles can.:ChairHit::ChairHit:

Nobody is blaming anyone if you post something at least try to take in consideration all stakeholders or at least the kids. If you want to know the facts you should have been at the game. Virgie did not substitute until about a min. to go and I did not ask my team to try an make the score any better. We picked a kid that we wanted to try and get some points that never gets to play. According to our bookkeeper the score was 59-34.

The only reason I metioned Mr. Tomlin is because he could tell you the truth of what the game was like.

I am not heard to argue point fingers but the truth is Coach Rowe started brining subs in around the 3 minute mark. I think to be exact the first sub came in with 2:53 on the clock in the 4th quarter.
EC played hard and their team never quit no matter what the score was.
Good job Cougars
Congratulations Virgie.
