Yea it was a good game to watch. Powells big men had 4 fouls apiece before halftime. Powell showed alot of growth having to play without their bigs for most of the second half. It became an outside game. Morgan Reed had 5 threes, he shot the ball great and Christian Brewer had a great game with 22 points and received player of the game honors. All around great effort by the Pirates. Tongue

I thought Jackson would play better, Im not sure that Jackson coach is ready for H.S. basketball.

I disagree you can't judge somebody after there first game, I know Coach Back and i think that he will be a fine Coach. Your going to make mistakes the main thing is that you learn from them and I think that he will.

Good to see Powell Co. start the year with a win. They have really struggled the last two years. Also glad Brewer is back as a Pirate. He will definitely have better "individual stastics" playing at Powell Co. The team may not be as strong or go as far as GRC but I hope he enjoys his senior year.

I'm glad he's back to. Your senior year you want to play and he's getting that opportunity to the point that he doesn't come out of the game. Players can get into the flow of the game and have the opportunity to work through mistakes alone the way and that helps with building confidence which can pay off come tourny time. Congrats to the Cards as well to a great start to there season. Hope to get some state tourny tickets because I'm sure we'll see them there. Good luck for the rest of the year.:Thumbs:
