How did Virgie do this weekend? Haven't heard anything about them. Like to keep up on all local schools and how they are doing?

They won the 7th grade tournament easily, and lost to Hazard in the finals in the 8th grade. Seems like the championship was a 3 point game. I was told that those boys played 7 games on Sunday (including both the 7th and 8th grade tournament). Hazard beat them on Saturday as well (around 9 points I believe). Both are two of the best teams in eastern Kentucky.

I have seen both Hazard and Virgie play and both teams are awesome. Is Virgie a small school?

Yes, it is one of two feeder schools for Shelby Valley, the other being Dorton.
