When you look at the facts, W has changed his stance on just as many, if not more, issues than Kerry. The fact is, Bush is an idiot and you all seem to think he's just being funny or sly, no people he really is just stupid. What exactly do you want Bush to do for the oil prices? Put a limit on prices? Yeah, that sounds like a good idea...why don't we just cause a shortage. That will help the economy HOW?!?
In fact, other than start the war what has W done? He basically showed up and took pictures when Katrina happened, he's not doing shit for oil prices, and he's causing thousands of our troops and neighbors to die because "Saddam had WMD's"
Where are those WMD's??? Still hidden.???? MY ASS!!!
Bush should be impeached and hung.

After reading go's and QQ's posts here there is nothing else that I could possibly tell you of how I feel. I know why we are fighting and not that I completely agree with it but there are reasons. We need to liberate them but in doing so they have no governemt and no sense of order there. That in turn will lead to more attacks because now the ones who did not want us there, because for some unknown reason did not want our help, are pissed. They are training to be terrorists. Simple as that. They want revenge and I honestly believe that we have not heard the last of them. I don't like the fact that day in and day out that people serving our country dies. It kills me to know that I have loved ones over there or in training and with no questions asked, will be shipped to wherever they are needed. BUT in order for us to pull out of the country now we have to finish what we have already started. We are over there now for the wrong reasons because our purpose of even going has been proven to be bullshit basically but the damage that we have already caused has to and will be fixed before Bush will ever think about bringing our troops back home. I too hate Bush and can't agree with a thing that the man stands for but he got us into that situation and it doesn't look like anytime soon that someone will be getting us out of it so we will have to deal with whatever comes our way as bad as that may be.

You see, Beef--I am not one of the people who think that we went to Iraq for oil (we went to help Daddy redeem himself).
But remember--we are spending millions of dollars everyday--helping Iraq to be a free nation. Iraq is the one of the largest producers of oil in the world. Now watch--our country will (and our next president) will have to clean up the mess that George Jr. made--and that president will get the blame for it. George could do us all a favor and get some "free" oil as a trade for the trillions that we have spent--and the lives that we have lost.
That would be the least that he could do. But then, the republicans could pass off the tax increase that we will eventually see as the democrats fault.

All these post I have read said that there has not been any WMD's found in Iraq. True, there was never any nukes or anything, but they did have gas. Sadam used nerve gas on the Kurds.

I, for one, am very glad we went over there to get rid of the problem abroad before it became a problem here on our home soil.
As for the Iraq goverment and military. We need to focus more on the goverment than the military. The odds are we will have troops over there from now on. Also, neighboring countries should know that we would be willing to go over there and fight for them.
I think there will still be bombings, Sadam loyalist and such untill after Sadams trial. If he is convicted and put to death, I see the attacks pick up at a alarming rate for a short period of time to show us that killing him didnt work. But then I see then falling off as rapid as they most likely will pick up.
