Congratulations, your team was by far the best team we have played all year. Does any of the schools do aau basketball for girls? We are going to be doing one at Millard to try and teach the girls the basic fundamentals. We would be looking for some games.

I think very few of the schools have AAU teams in girls. We do, and I know some of Pikeville and Elkhorn's players play, but not sure besides that.

What do you do then, just go play in the tournaments at Knott County and other places?

Yes. There are quite a few tournaments. There is also a league at Knott County that you can join to get some games. We played 40+ boys games this summer, and all were around here. There are alot more boys teams playing in the summer though.

Dorton has a 4th & 5th grade AAU team that plays in Va. & Tenn. It runs from Nov. till about April.
