Eric Bledsoe is what, 6'1?
Devan Downey from South Carolina is 5'9 or so.
Jai Lucas from Florida, if he didnt transfer was around the same size as Downey.
Justice improves his outside shot and develops a floater to get over the bigger defenders. And the kid will play Major D1.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Justice is 5'11 175-180lbs. of solid muscle. Meaning he has the D1 body. How many people does he play that can keep up with him? NONE How many teams have they played over the years, that has a better ball-handler? NONE How many players play harder than he does for the entire game? NONE...
I'm not a Valley fan, but this kid can absolutely play.
Pitino liked what he saw the other day, so if he goes to Louisville on scholarship, and redshirts his first season, your talking about him having an outside chance to start at Point, if Siva leaves, because he would be a Junior if Justice redshirted. If not, he would still see some quality minutes and possibly start point as a junior or senior. So keep working hard Elisha, I wouldn't mind rooting for the Ville, as long as they aint playing UK. But, I'd still want you to do good against UK.

BCF4L Wrote:I never did see where Pitino was going to offer him a scholarship anyway. In the article I read that came out yesterday, they talked about how UL was wanting him to possibly walk-on. While I may not be a "talent scout" as you call it, I have watched Justice play many times and he's a great talent like I said. BUT, when it comes to playing high D-1 ball, he's not that great. Could he succeed at a C-USA team? Sure. Could he succeed in the Big East or SEC? Doubt it. When you go against PG's who are 6'6 and quicker than you are, the odds are certainly against you. Like I stated in my above post, I'm not dogging Elisha at all. He is certainly the best player in Eastern KY and is tons of fun to watch out on the court, but would I take him over incoming UL recruit Siva? Absolutely not.Tuesday, October 20, 2009
Rick Pitino to Visit Shelby Valley's Elisha Justice
I have learned that University of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino will be flying back from New York tomorrow to evaluate Shelby Valley point guard Elisha Justice.
Pitino is looking for a backup point guard in the 2010 Class and is apparently considering a scholarship offer for Justice. Previously, the Cardinals had discussed the possibility of bringing Justice on as a walk-on with the opportunity to earn a scholarship. I hope to have more information after Pitino's visit.
Justice is also scheduled to make an official visit to Eastern Kentucky on Friday and Saturday.
THERE YA GO............AND IF YOU THINK THAT A 6'6"POINT GUARD WOULD BE QUICKER THAN E.J., YOU'RE WRONG. MAYBE BETTER,(PROBABLY NOT,THOUGH)BUT DEFINITELY NOT QUICKER.IT'S CALLED PHYSICS,MOMENTUM,INERTIA.....IT'S WHY MONSTER TRUCKS DON'T RACE IN NASCAR.TALLER, HEAVIER OBJECTS JUST CAN'T MOVE AS WELL.
AND THE LAST TIME I CHECKED,U OF L WAS IN THE ELITE 8 OF THE NCAA TOURNAMENT LAST YEAR AND UK WAS............WELL,THEY DIDN'T MAKE IT.

Elisha Justice Impresses Louisville Staff
I just found out from a very reliable source that Louisville head coach Rick Pitino and assistants Ralph Willard and Steve Masiello visited Shelby Valley's practice today. The coaches were there to watch 2010 point guard Elisha Justice and I am told "they loved what they saw!"
Justice would potentially be brought to Louisville as Peyton Siva's backup next season as a freshman.
Justice and his parents will be making a visit to Louisville this Sunday to watch the Red-White intrasquad scrimmage. Posted by BluegrassHoopster at 10:13 PM

I understand being excited for a local kid, but you guys are taking it way too far. No, I'm not a talent evaluator, but scout.com and rivals.com are. When I look at their site, Rivals has him as a 0 star and Scout doesn't even have a profile on him. Up until UL came to visit, his most impressive school was what, EKU? There is no way Elisha becomes a top level PG. I'm sorry but there is not. So if UL wants to sign him as their backup to Siva, more power to them. I'll stick to getting the Wall's, Bledsoe's, Knight's, and Selby's of the world while UL is bringing in 0 star recruits.

Everyone likes to dream big, and I hope for the best for Elisha. I remember back in the day my hero was Todd May and how I thought he was the greatest baskeball player. And my little boys feel the same towards Elisha now. I hope he doesn't sign early and see what happens at the end of year. A possible Mr. Basketball could help other D1 schoools take notice? and maybe Calipari! Keep living the dream.
