Ashlands speed is not in the backfield. Where Ashland has great speed is in their defensive front seven, or eight, or nine, however many guys they decide to keep in the box.

I know, but like I said, Belfrys backs outran them a couple of times. Belfry nearly beat them and this Pirate squad is not very good. Ashland's whole defense is pretty quick, but the Tomcat fans are fooling themselves if they are comparing this squad to their 1990 team like I have read and heard in a place or two.
