I agree that BCI is really helping to build up girls basketball. There are girls out there with tons of talent.

What 8th grade teams are planning on playing in this? Would any coaches please list their teams. I think Johnson Co might be interested if there are a lot to teams in this tournament.

Does anyone know what teams will be playing, if so could you post them.

Dorton is playing.

I was told yesterday that there were 18 teams in the 8th grade division.

Sounds like that it may be a pretty good tourney glad to see that many teams involved. I don't guess you know any of the other teams playing, just curious.

Maybe these teams can confirm or deny, but these are some of the teams that I was told:

Dorton (confirmed), Pikeville, AB Combs, Leslie, Reading - OH, Cowan, South Floyd, Jenkins, Barbourville, Cawood, Whitesburg and maybe Whitley, Clay, Johnson

Those were some of the ones I was told. I know Pikeville is going because Coach Porter told me the other day.

If so looks as if it might be some pretty good basketball with some really competitive games if everyone shows, hope they do.

Does anyone have a schedule or proposed schedule for Saturdays games, some families are trying to figure what time they will be out of there on Saturday. Any info will be helpful.
