The second game last night between Herald Whitaker and Dorton was the best game so far. Thought Dorton would pull through but they played an exciting game. WHO IS GOING TO WIN TONIGHTS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?
Also, any breakdown on individual scores?

It was a great game. Magoffin puts so much pressure on the ball. I think tonight's game will be another good one. The key could be if Magoffin's pressure bothers Pikeville.
In the game last night, #1 for Magoffin had 26 points and #11 had 16 points.
For Dorton, Courtney Wright had 20 points, Savannah Honaker had 10 points, and Abby Smallwood had 9 points.

Dorton played hard but Magoffin was just so quick. #30 was just a 6th grader, she is going to be very good.

Thanks for the stats.

I have the rest of the stats as well (other than points), but I left them at home this morning and it was too late last night for me to post them.

I am sure it was late..just by the time on your other posts. You do a great job up there. Very inviting, posting, and the ref's. They are very fair. Probably the best I have ever seen at this level anywhere, and it is year after year. I am really impressed how on top of everything you are up there.
GREAT job.
And once again you have a good and well coached TEAM! That will pay off in the end with the team effort. I notice on here that you tend to get everyone involved.

I thought this was a very well played game and was very exciting, of course one team has to win, and MC did enough to do that but, I also think this will help Dorton in the long run. Keep playing hard Cats and good things will happen very proud of you girls for your effort showed last night.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm usually running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
The girls played really hard last night against Magoffin and I was really proud of them. The better the teams are that you play, the more you improve. If we could play Magoffin every week, we'd be a much better team.

As for tonight's game I'll go with MC just don't think Pikeville can handle the pressure I'll say MC by 12 to 15. Good luck to both teams though.

Pikeville had a great game against Herald Whitaker tonight! They won 56-42. Pikeville led by 20 most of the game though. Great job girls!

Not taking anything away from Pikeville they have a very good team, but MC didn't even look like the same team that played Dorton the night before. I don't know what happen if they were tired or Pikeville just made them look that way because, they sure didn't show the same intensity as they did against Dorton. Congratulations to Pikeville on the win though, it should be a good one on the 14th if both teams play to their potential and I hope both teams well.

I don't think MC was tired they were just outplayed and out hustled. Pikeville definitely showed they were the better team.

Pikeville did play a good game. I think Herald Whitaker thought Dorton would be the tougher game, and they looked past Pikeville. Pikeville played good but could play better as well. Good job to all teams involved.

I am sure people from Herald Whitaker and Dorton would agree that HW played better Wed. night. However, people from Pikeville would like to think HW had just as good as game but the Pikeville is just that much better. But, all coaches and true fans know that luck has a lot to do with any game. For example; anyone in early foul trouble, shots going in, able to press or brat the press successfully. etc... Any of the 3 teams mentioned here could be the other o n any given night.
Good job Pikeville. You played hard and the stars were lined right .
