Middle School Team Camp

There will be a team camp held June 22-26 in Pike County. We will be using 4 gyms: Dorton, Elkhorn, Millard, and Pikeville. The entry fee is $250 and each team will be guaranteed at least 15 games over the 5 days. There will be a morning session (10:00-1:00) and an evening session (6:00-9:00). Teams can play both morning and evening or either one. For more information, contact Van Swindall at 639-6042 or Randy Davis at 639-2086, or leave a message here. As of now, we have 10 teams entered--looking for about 5 more.

I have already made the schedule, but we had a couple more teams ask today about getting in. I am going to put them in and rework the schedule. If you are interested, just let me know. We will need the entry fee by the time the camp starts. All gate money will be split between the teams at the end of the camp so you will get some of your money back.

We have 12 teams as of now.

I will need a roster, plus there are a couple of other forms to sign. I can email the forms if you give me your email address. Each player will get a T shirt, but the teams who entered late will get theirs a little later since they've already been printed.

I'm not sure how to do that. I typed it in Microsoft Works and then scanned it to send to the coaches because I know most people have Word instead of Works.

Andrew played a couple of games with us while Doe Doe was in Myrtle Beach since Virgie wasn't playing. His dad asked if he could just so he could stay active. Andrew acts like he loves playing and he is a good kid. Nothing more to it than that. A couple of my players have played with Virgie and vice versa. Doe Doe's own son has played with us, but that doesn't mean he is transferring.

Hazard beat Johns Creek, johns creek did good until they ran out of steem,they were breaking the press well in the first half, but johns creek was dragging in the 2nd. Johns creek looked like they're going to be a good team this year , go Hazard

Happy always brings a strong Hazard team to play, very athletic group that likes to get up and down the floor, Sounds like Johns Creek has a solid ball club also.

Everyone please keep My assistant coach Terry Williams and his entire family in your prayers. His family suffered a tragic loss yesterday morning with the sudden death of their two week old nephew. Funeral services will be at Hall Funeral home Tomorrow (Thursday).
