The Mad Hatter?

What kind of impact do you think Jon Gruden will have next season in the college and pro levels? Do you think his unemployment and desire to learn the spread offense will put added pressure to coaches that are already on the hot seat? Here's a list of potential current coaches and fits that I think Gruden could excel in, let me know what you think.

Marvin Lewis-Cincinnati Bengals
Good QB and Recievers, the team needs intensity on both sides of the ball.
Charlie Weis-Notre Dame
Poor record and no significant signs of improvement, adding to this is Gruden's father was the RB coach for the Irish in the 70s.
Lovie Smith-Chicago Bears
An old defense that is getting older, emergence of offensive weapons such as Cutler, Olsen, and Hester. The west coast could be explosive in the Windy City.
Randy Shannon-Miami
Top 10 talent on a team that has struggled to reach the top 25. With Shannon putting added pressure by garaunteeing a title by 2010, this may be his last season at the 'U'. Plus Gruden loves living in Florida.
John Fox-Carolina Panthers
This team has some great weapons, but an anemic offense always seams to stop them in their tracks every year. With Gruden running the offense Steve Smith and the dynamic duo of RBs could run wild in the NFC South.

IMO Gruden is an overrated coach. Yes he won a super bowl in Tampa but with a team that Tony Dungy had assembled but only had 2 playoff appearances in the 7 years after that. Im sure some team in the college or pro ranks will throw a bunch of money his way to come back and coach next year but it will be more of the same. Alot of his former players have came out and talked about how big of scum bag ths guy was to play for.

Gruden was clueless that had great talent and wound up running it into the ground. Gurden's next job will be in High School....

I'm not on here saying he's is or is not a great coach. All I'm saying is that he and Mike Shanahan are big name coaches that could put pressure on coaches that have not been successful. I do think that Gruden would be better suited for college because of his personality. Players would leave every three or four years and his attitude would wear less on them. So let's add Mike Shanahan to the mix and go from there.
