I watched this team play Saturday without Paige Slone and Kelsey Jacobs. They looked a little rusty but still was able to win big. Once they get all their players together a few practices and games under their belt they will be tough. Without a doubt be one of the favorites to win the 13u state tournament in a couple weeks.

This team is going to go pretty far. All of the knott county girls have been playing together for a while. Some even while they were at June Buchanan. Slone, Shepherd, Eldridge, Breeding, and Collins are just EXCELLENT additions. Especially Paige Sone, she's going to be one heck of a player.

Holy Cow what a team! I was at the sportsplex last night and saw this AAU team working out. They should be able to beat anyone in east Ky and will have a great chance to be state AAU champs. I'd like to have this team together in high school. They had 12 players on the floor and they are all excellent players. Good Luck at the sate finals.:worthy: :1:

I just heard that if their is a coaching change at KCC or LCC that all these girls may be playing together in high school, any insights?

These girls, minus a few, won the state tournament 2 years ago, and was runner-up last year. With this newly combined team there isn't a doubt in my mind that they'll win the state tournament. They could go really far considering how young they are.

Well after watching them play I'd say this team could be one of the top teams in the
14th region next year as freshman, along with a couple of those upper classman they had. Of course I'm sure they won't all be there together but i've MUCH seen weirder things before in between Knott and Letcher. Not the biggest fan of Knott County, but even I'd like to see that.
