Another less than impressive game by Holmes. My preseason fear was that with out Henderson, this team could lose it's focus down the stretch. Struggling against at team like Simon kenton and the less than impressive wins over the last few weeks is a sign that Holmes may have peaked way too early.

Simon Kenton cut the deficit to one with seven minutes remaining, but visiting Holmes never gave up the lead, and won 55-47 Friday night in boys' basketball.


Senior Jamel Riley scored a game-high 15 points for Holmes (27-2), while junior Ricardo Johnson added 11.

Junior Casey Sorrell led Simon Kenton with a game-high 17 points.
