Murray is the third place team in the States first region entering the State tournament with a 13-4 overall record, going 8-2 over their last 10.

Shawnee enters the tournament with a losing overall record of 9-10, going 5-5 over their last 10 before sweeping their way through the 6th region All 'A'.
