Tackett missed the free throw with 6.1 seconds remaining. On the miss, McClanahan for ER tipped it and Tackett put up another shot, and Martin for BL was able to put the ball in the basket all before the clock started ticking. Then ER grabbed the ball and called a timeout with, what seemed, 3.5-4 seconds left (but should have been fewer, but I digress). The refs then met at the scorers table and put 0.3 back on the clock. Very confusing final seconds, and it all started with the clock not starting. The refs handled things the best they could considering the situation. Congrats on win BL!

I was surprised the press bothered ER so much in the second half. Great time out call by the BL coach to set up the play to get the three pointer that tied the game. Great game. I wish schools would do a better job selecting there table personel though Not just anyone shoud be running the clock.

The Bobcats played a great second half tonight. They showed true heart and determination clawing back from down 14 points.........Bryce Adkins played a great game tonight, so did Bryant Tibbs ....Nathan Martin struggled in the first half but man what a big three he hit to tie it up with under a minute left.....all I can say is as of right now the bobcats look like the favorites in the 58th.

My mistake. It looked like it was Martin. I apologize. But there should have been more time put on the clock. Had the clock started when it was supposed to, then maybe 0.3 would have been correct. But someone messed up, and therefore, 3-4 seconds should have been put up there. That's the main point of my previous post. Nonetheless, I was mistaken on who made the basket. I'm sorry.

congrats.BOBCATS... several players were wonderful. martin, newman , tibbs, adkins and tackett played team ball and thats what wins. as a matter of fact only 4/10s of a second was on that clock. WAY TO GO BOBCATS.

Horribly overrated when they lost by 2 points in a game that the time is in question? It could have sent the game into overtime and the outcome been a lot different.

True, but the loss came to a below average Betsy Lane team. LC played them in a scrimmage over the summer and blew them out, and LC was pre-season ranked as 8th or greater in the region, they were definitely overrated at pre-season, there's no question about it.

I don't doubt that they were. I don't see them having the team for a long time that they had the first two years of play for sure. Fields, Williams, and Meade are seniors if I'm not mistaken so hopefully something good will come out of the season but it's up in the air for me right now. I guess we'll see when they face some teams higher ranked than them later on.

GOOD WIN but BL players need to step martin and adkins can not do all the scoring both games if one has a bad night u will get beat..and everybody has off nights the talent is there use it and as far as the point gguard position goes i dont no if Adam slone is back yet but id say he will bee the one running it.

The Maldonado kid is right where he needs to be...PLAYING JV.....he can not handled the ball good enough to play point on a varsity team...i'm sure he will be good enough when it comes his time...(maybe his senior year)...Adkins is the best point guard on that team....

the boys who have been starting is exactly the ones that need to be starting (N. Martin, B. Adkins, J. Newman, J. Head, and Tibbs/Tackett)...Jr. Newsome knows what he is doing.....

Fields and Williams are only juniors this year and yes it was a terrible called game. The clock keeper laughed his head off at the end of the game.
