Huge upset tonight as Holmes, who most feel is the only team who would challenge Scott County for a state title get blown out by Bryan Station tonight @Tates Creek 72-86.
I guess the loss of Arrez Henderson to graduation has hurt this team alot....what a shocker.

Goes to show you that any team can be beat on a given night. That's why we play the game.
Holmes has been hyped as being one of the best teams in the state and they got beat the second game of the season. They may not be as good as they think they are. Holmes also got beat by Tates Creek a couple of weeks ago in a scrimmage game. Holmes was missing Ricardo Johnson in that scrimmage but they were not missing any other players. Tates Creek was missing two starters themselves.
Congratulations Station!

I don't think any knowledgeable high school basketball fan would believe Holmes is the only team that could challenge Scott Co for a state title. Jeffersontown, Manual, Elliott Co, and several other schools have very good teams. Scott Co will have major difficulties getting out of the 11th region. The 11th and 7th region tournaments are usually tougher tournaments than the Sweet 16. Elliott Co should have the advantage of a free pass to Rupp Arena this year.
Anyone know how anything about Bryan Station's 6'11" transfer?
