Hmm why no Breathitt? After losing only two players from back to back trips to Bowling Green, still getting no love.

I don't get this Breathitt Co. is not ranked in this Top 25 but Clay Co. is and Breathitt Co. is ranked ahead of Clay Co. in the Eastern Ky Top 25 which was done by the same person. Ranking don't matter a lot right now if you ask me but I just thought that was a little off. I think they're a few teams that are getting a lot of love without really earning any of it but only time will tell. I always wanted to know what is looked at when teams are being ranked and who is doing the ranking.

These are the top 25 teams statewide receiving votes. All BluegrassRivals staff members are eligible to vote. I just tally up the votes and post them for girls basketball as another staff members does boys basketball. Breathitt Co. did receive votes and would have been in 26th place. With the first week of games quickly approaching, anything can change.

I think that Breathitt County is good enough to be in the top 25.. After all they did make it to Bowling Green a couple times...
