The 53rd district is loaded with freshman talent. LCC has the holdbacks and they have several really good 8th graders, that were runners up in the state AAU tournament two years ago.

KCC should have a very good freshman team they have four players form the AAU team that won the state tourney two years ago and finished second this year.

LCC Kelah Eldrige, Micah Boggs, Erica Mead, Vannah Breeding .
KCC Kelsie Jacobs, Regan King, Morgan Adams, Sasha Pike, Hillary Ratliff.

martin county has a fine group of 8th graders that is playing a freshman schedule
