A bus carrying as many as 45 elderly Hurricane Rita evacuees exploded in flames today south of Dallas killing as many as 24, according to Dallas County Sheriff's Sgt. Don Peritz. Forecasters say Houston and Galveston may avoid a direct hit from Rita. I think that the bus caught on fire and a lot of the elderly people had oxygen tanks so the fire caused them to blow up
