Dobbins-Bennett, TN vs. Belfry
#1
I would really like to see this game on Belfry's schedule. I just moved from Belfry to Johnson City, Tennessee, and I've been going and watching teams around here and they would be good games between them both. It would make them stronger for playoffs, I know the Indians need more games for next year, and its not really a long drive. Can someone let coach Haywood know to try to make this happen, there good year in and out like Belfry.

Go Pirates!

You are totally wrong. Coach Haywood, as well as all coaches, makes his own schedule and can play who he wants. The only thing he would have to do is just get a permission form from the KHSAA to play an out of state team. Teams can play whoever they want and the KHSAA has nothing to do with that!!

The Dobbins-Bennett team is very good....Not saying that Belfry is not good, but they would be beaten nine times out of 10 against this team.

I doubt it would happen because of travel. Gas prices has had an impact on scheduling. But I have been wrong before.

It's no farther than going to Louisville to play a game. Actually it may be closer.

No way DB beats Belfry 9 out of 10. I have been watching them play, plus looking at your picks you would probably get this wrong to. I lived in Belfry and just moved here to Tennessee. This game could go either way probably every game. Mr. joethegreek, you can get it done. I know who you are, you always talk to coach Haywood, why don't you ask him about it, and plus its only 2.5 hrs.

You might want to expand your research on Dobbins-Bennett a little further before you make such brash assumptions.

Next time I talk to coach I will mention it and it would be a great test because they have rich tradition in basketball and football, but I think that schools are trying to cut down on travel due to expense.
