These kids are taught to cover whenever you kick the ball off; from what I'm hearing is when they kicked off they should of made no effort to cover the kick off, even if it were a scrubbed kick.

Anyone knows, in any football game, if you just quit on the field, and stand around, that is when you will get your head knocked off by your opponent.

If the game was over (which it was), why did KCC run an offensive play to the very end, trying to score again. I didn't blame them for that, even though it was a tough way to end the game, on the injury to one of KCC lineman (I truly hope he is alright, I hate to see a kid get hurt, especially on the last play of a game that is that far our of reach.)

I hear all the negativity concerning SV (basketball and football), and when I look on here and see the scores, or watch sports overtime and see the scores, it appears that 80-90% of the games are blowouts. I'm sure that every team that won, played hard till the end, and every team that lost played hard to the end. I guess what I'm saying is there no doubt is a lot of scoring in the last qtr of these blowout games I'm seeing listed on here. Just don't say it is one team and try to down one program for this.

To set the record straight. We always kick the ball on the ground on kickoff. Secondly, our holder was in Lexington playing on the golf team. That is why we went for two point conversions.
Spartan4Life Wrote:Pikeville didn't go for a TD, 2 pt Conversion and a onside kick with under a minute either did they. It's not Pikevilles choice that Betsy Lane couldn't shut down there offense. All sv had to do is run the ball and knee.
