You know... it always cracks me up on here when people will say "this or that one" is the reason their school's team is gonna win... and on and on and on...
How can any intelligent person look @ the game of football and make such statements? It's a TEAM SPORT for crying out loud! If the line doesn't block, the QB can't throw it to his favorite receiver or the back can't run the ball... so how is it just one person gets credit without insulting everyone who had a hand in the success?
If that team is unfortunate enough to lose, are people going to get on here and openly name names with the blame game? C'mon... be real. How can team's be built like that, if no one is included except one person? I wish both teams Good Luck... and that means everyone on those team's... not just the "chosen kid"!

I can see what your saying. But in their defense your right they are a team, so they don't care if one person get more recognition than another. Its like when a halfback runs the ball 60 yards and gets tackled on the 3 yard line then they give it to a fullback to run it in. Does it make the halfback mad, no because they scored. All because one player is a better athlete dose not mean he shouldn't get some recognition. If you do something good don't you like to get a little praise for it.

I see what you are saying, but it still stinks. You win as a team and you lose as a team... being humble and remembering those who bust theirs so the team can win, is always a very classy approach to any team sport!

Yea football is a team sport but everyteam has there star player can you honestly name one team that didnt have a star player u never see a team where they dont have atleast one kid that gets all the publicity or gets more than everyone else...Yes your correct its a team sport and it all starts upfront with the line if the line doesnt block the backs wont have a lane to run in but honestly when do u see the lineman makin a paper for a block you dont u see what the back done after the lineman made that block so theres always goin to be a chosen kid that gets reconized more then everyone else might not be fair but thats just how it is.

Couldn't have said it better myself True Big Blue Fan. Everyone is going to have that one player that make the fans say wow that kid is good. An for SF that would have to be Howell.

Your right true blue, i've seen the kid do it to many times i mean last year after the season was over he had well over 1000 yards. Teams last year didn't know what he could do but this year they know what he's capable of an i still don't think they can stop him.

That is so nice for Howell. It is wonderful he has that ability and opportunity.(seriously)
I'd rather have a winning record and a nice run in the playoffs than a bunch of games with big yardage. Maybe I am just so sick and tired of people always looking for personal gain and the team be darned. if this is not the case with this particular kid, please excuse.
You know, it might be nice if some of you all might mention the "blocks" made whenever you are handing out your kudos to those big ground gainers.

The Lord does and always will HAVE MERCY. Is it too much to ask for you to give other people a good word? ... but don't get all bent out of shape ... my point was just to spread good will and being supportive to the kids.
Good Luck to all of them and Drive Safely tonight!
