Brett Favre
#1
Anyone else tired about hearing his name? he is all over ESPN constantly, I cannot even keep up with whats going on because at one moment teams are given permission to talk to Farve then Farve says he wants to goto Packers training camp. Yes, he is one of the better players to ever play the game of football but if I were the Packers I'd be doing my best to get rid of him because he will more than likely pull this same stunt next season, its time for them to move on and let Aaron Rodgers take over that offense.

Another thing, the Packers are not going to get a 1st round draft choice out of Farve.

I agree, its getting old.

I am very tired of hearing about this.

I personally, have lost a lot of respect for Favre!!!! I mean, don't get me wrong, he may be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, but his little stunt of retiring, with tears and emotions running wild, then returning wanting to play the game again, just don't cut it for me. That's just my opinion though

I've been tired of the Favre speculation for the past couple of years.

Yeah it is really went beyond ridiculous. He has and always will be one of my all time favorite players but he just needs to put aside that hunger and remain retired. He would be if he hasn't already tarnished his legacy by coming back. Rumors are going around that he would be traded to the New York Jets. Seeing him in a Jets jersey is like seeing Michael Jordan in a Wizards uniform. Please stay home Brett!

I'm tired of Farve drama. Packers need Rodgers to take over and get ride of Farve. They wont get a first round, so they need to lower there price.

Okay now Brett Farve has been reinstated by the Green Bay Packers, and Ted Thompson (Packers GM) is the most hated guy in Green Bay now for not wanting Farve back. But Thompson offers Farve $20 million to stay retired as a Packer, but the fans get what they want as NFL commissioner, Rodger Goodell reinstated Farve.

So here we are, Farve reports to Packers training camp and Aaron Rodgers will more than likely be the back-up once again when he was told once Farve had retired that he was the starter. So over the weekend the Packers have their scrimmage at Lambeau and Aaron Rodgers is booed.

All I'm saying is that when the season is over and Farve wants to retire again, the Packers will be in the same situation again but if I were Aaron Rodgers I'd be asking to be traded, because he was willing to wait behind future hall of famer Farve to retire.

With the way things are going I believe that Green Bay will be one of the worst teams this season, simply because of all the media attention that Farve is getting and now a quarterback controversy.

OK, here is my 2 cents on the situation, yea its definitely time for this story to come to an end. I have always loved Brett as a player but seriously, if this even necessary to draw this out so long. The Pack just need to trade him, they want a 1st or 2nd round pick, which I can see a 3rd and maybe a small time player because no one is going to give up such a good pick for someone who will be their 1 or 2 years tops. What Brett does for the team he ends up with will be significant but they may have to go through this with Brett also. I personally hope he just ends up at Minnesota to tick the Packers off and they will be a superbowl team with that ferocious D and AP and Favre on the offensive side of the ball.

I agree if I was Aaron Rodgers I would want to be traded.

Favre should stay out and let Rodgers have it.

Update on the Farve saga...

Farve meets with coach Mike McCarthy for 5 hours last night. Brett feels that he isn't wanted in Green Bay by the organization but the organization will not grant Farve permission to speak with the Minnesota Vikings or Chicago Bears, two teams that Farve prefers to play for.

McCarthy says that he doesn't want Farve practicing until he is truly committed to the team and Farve also went on to say that he doesn't want to ruin team chemistry.

Farve has an itch to play again and know he doesn't want to practice for the Packers... truly unbelievable!

I totally agree with what they said on ESPN's, "First Take" yesterday morning,

"he wasn't the first legend to put on a Packers uniform and he certainly won't be the last".

He now is considering talking to Tampa Bay about a possible trade.

I have lost so much respect for Brett Favre in the last month. It is unbelievable! Ted Thompson just needs to get rid of him, send him to any team out of the division maybe even out of the conference. What about trading him to the Jets?

I never did like him.
