Today Desmond Johnson of Cumberland High School signed with Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tn. They are part of the South Atlantic Conference NCAA Division II. Desmond chose LMU over Georgetown College and Union College. The story should go public on WYMT tonight. I wish the best of luck to him.

Other players of interest at LMU are Ryan Whitaker (Bell County), Trey Goins (Bell County), and the recent transfer of Stuart Miller (Middlesboro) from Louisville. Some good local talent at LMU.

I just found out about LMU this year, seen a few highlights of there basketball games on WYMT, they have a very nice gym. so I'd say they have some very nice facilities at LMU... Congratulations to that young man!
