Prestonsburg played one of there better games tonight and rebounded very well. The Blackcats had a 20 point lead at one point in the 3rd quarter but Pike Central played pretty good defense toward the end of the game causing a lot of Blackcat turnovers... Congrats Blackcats!

Pike Central is not bad by any means......this same team played Shelby Valley to a 5 point game.....granted it was at Pike Central, nonetheless, Pike Central is not a bad team.......Good Win Blackcats, lets see if we can get something rolling after this one....

This was Definitely the best that I have seen the Blackcats look as a team this year!! They rebounded well, made great cuts to the basket without the ball, & found those open guys most of the time. There only faults in this game were:
getting back on defense & giving up the Easy baskets. They are young though & showed major improvement in this game & gave the coaches & fans a taste of what they are capable of.
Way to go guys,,,Keep it up !

No, by no means is Pike Cent. a bad team. P-Burg is just not a consistent team but, like some1 said, they "gave the coaches & fans a taste of what they are capable of". I would love to see them play that way every night. No 1 player was on "fire" that I would say but, team play overcomes A Lot of mistakes any day. Blackcats, keep this one in the back of your mind, always.

Congrats P-burg! IMO P-burg is capable of causing problems for any team they play but they are so inconsistent you can never tell what will happen when they take the court. jmo

The cat's could win the region the way that they played.......only if they get to bring both of those ref. with them. I talked to several P'burg fans after the game and they were laughing about how the calls were favored their way.

The fouls were even. I thought more fouls should have been called because both teams had players getting a little out of control.

Good win for Prestonsburg over a 60th district team. Prestonsburg could get on a roll and become a tough team in the 58th to face come tourney time.

Pike Central will wind up playin in the opening game of the 60th, and right now, I just don't see this team getting to the region unless things change.

Congrats to the Blackcats! PCC is down this year, but definately not a bad team. The Blackcats are a lot better than most ppl think. They can win on a given night, but just don't do it that often.

No there colors were Red/Black, actually saw the coach turn a laugh at a couple of the calls... I give congrats to P'burg, they got hot in the 3rd quarter, that was the difference in the game.
