Whats everyone think about Mr. Slone and what is his current college choices or options?...

Very good shooter, can drive to the goal as well, when he gets hot on the floor he is money, other than that he can be a streaky shooter. Landon could play big time D-1AA ball.

Steaky? The kid averages over 20 a game and hits at least 50% of his shots every game. And you call that steaky?

I agree with the Div 1-AA comment...but the streaky part not so much...your absolutely right OTH...20+ppg and shooting 50% or better is far from streaky...

I think they are referring to the fact that some threads before have been closed.

I've not seen him play any this year. but last year I was thinking Mid-Major talent...Im sure hes improved some.

Landon is a heck of a player. Excellant shooter, very smart, extremely competitive, money from the FT line, good passer, not a bad defender, can rebound when needed. IMO Landon is the best all around player in the 15th region. I can see Landon at somewhere like Marshall, EKU, or Morehead St. I don't have any idea whose interested in him though, or where he wants to go. IMO the one area of his game I think he needs to improve on at the next level is ball handling. He handles the ball well enough in high school, but in college I think he would struggle until he got adjusted. Just my opinion.

I don't think Landon is going to be able to be a contributer at a division 1 school. He may go there but not get any real PT until he gets to be about a Junior or so. He is an excellent shooter and a great penetrator. He has some potential to become a contributor to some school but who knows he may go and surprise everyone like Chris Lofton did, but I don't think he could be the next Chris Lofton.

He is leaning toward Marshall more than any other school thats interested in him and I have talked to him about it several times and every time he gets more and more interested in Marshall. He has shown so much improvement from last season to this season it is unreal. I have seen him play a handfull of times so far this season and the numbers he is putting up is unreal. Not only is he a threat on offense, his defense has improved 110% since his Freshmen year. He did tell me some interesting news that I promised I wouldn't say or tell to anyone but it really blew me away. He is also a great kid to be around, I spend a lot of time with him and he is great to be around. Just to go ahead and say it we are cousins so we are really close.

A couple of things I have noticed this year about Lando.
His D is improved. His passing has improved. His rebounding has improved. But something that has happened this year, and I contribute it to his ability to be a better passer. And that is, he has a knack for being in great inside position. He seems to be open when he is under the basket just about every time.

actually he averages probably around 25 ppg.

Landon is a great player. He has improved so much this year. I can possibly see him at a D1 school, but it would have to be a school such as Marshall which would allow him to develop on the college level. But who knows? He may just keep getting better. He has talent.
