Daniel Brown and the 92 Nicholas County team he carried to the Region Finals in Maysville. I saw him score 38 points in district play that season. 1988 Clay County team at the Louisville Invitational defeated the 2nd, 3rd and 5th ranked team in Kentucky that weekend. I watched Davies County at Grayson County last week in regular season on Facebook. Junior Bridgeman on the 71 East Chicago Washington was one of the greatest in Indiana. Quinn Buckner at Thornridge High School in Illinois in the 71 season. These teams were only 9 miles apart across state line but did not play that season. Ty Price and his Butler County team from the 3rd Region were ranked 1 in preseason. They played Lawrence County two seasons ago at Martin County November games. Scotty Davenport and Ballard with DeJuan Wheat i saw them play in 92 at Bourbon County. The 5th Region being played at Marion County in 93 and 94 with Elton Scott and Anthony Epps were special players. Coach Bart Rison in November 87 fielded a pan-o-rama, i wonder if this was first time a scrimmage like this was held? Played in the Barn. I thank you for the statewide reports of other Region games. I miss how good the Courier Journal and Herald Leader this morning with scoring and schedules would have been.

Daniel Brown's playing days were a bit early for me but I've heard he had incredible shooting range. I've watched some of the 1988 games that you mentioned on YouTube. I'll send you the links in a private message.

I didn't get to see much of the Western Kentucky teams in the mid-90's other than clips. The Epps and Scott Marion County team had a lot more talent but I'd always heard that the '95 Breckinridge County squad was a huge crowd favorite because of how well they played as a team. I haven't been able to find any of the Breck games online but would love to see those tapes.
