Very choppy mucked up game with lots of misses and turnovers. DCA was down a starter due to injury.
Really like Tytus Boyd's game for DCA-- he's their glue and was one of only two players they had score in the 4th Quarter. Lions run a lot of 1-4 high/Horns type sets where they try to go big-to-big from wing to post entry. Stiefel had a really big three to put them ahead 38-36 at the end of the third quarter. DCA had a lot of length but seemed to get pushed around a bit underneath.
Southwestern had the ball with 17 seconds and took a timeout. They took another with 5.6 and got the inbound, missed a three and the ball went out-of-bounds and back to DCA.
Danville Christian will meet Mercer County in the 12th Region Championship tomorrow night.
