Pikeville vs Shelby Valley District Championship 2/26
#1
SV 0-2 vs Pikeville this season.
Game is at SV, where Pikeville blew them out earlier in season.

Thoughts…

"its hard to beat the same team three times in a row" is what they always say. I always think that SV should win because they shoot really well from the outside and that takes away half of Pikeville strength . Shelby valley to me is a team that can cause chaos on any team they play. well with that being said. Im going to take SV in this one.
60 SV
58 Pikeville

Pikeville 65
Valley 53

Pikeville better in every aspect dont see valley winning unless reffing is awful

Ronnie Paul stated that Sykes is out on the D&D broadcast last night. If that is true, it improves Shelby Valleys chances by a lot. I’m assuming that if he does play he won’t be 100% so this could be SV’s chance to bring a district title back to Robinson Creek. I do know that the gym will be rocking regardless of the outcome.

I’m saying SV 66 Pikeville 60

I think with the X-factor of Ethan Sykes out, Shelby Valley will take this one. It is always hard to beat a team 3 times.

Pikeville has appeared in 13 championship games - winning a whopping 11 of them 84%

Shelby Valley has appeared in 17 championship games - winning 6 of them 35%

East Ridge has appeared in 12 championship games - winning 4 of them 33%

Do you have the head to head records for each team. I would assume Pikeville and Shelby Valley has played each other in the championship more than east ridge or Jenkins (when they were in the 59th)

Give me the underdog. Sko Wildcats

At Valley and Pikeville down a starter = coin toss. Atmosphere will be awesome. I'm calling a 1 or 2 point win for whoever makes the last play.

Pikeville!

Even w/ Pikeville not being at 100%, I still think they'll go into Valley and get the win.

Should be one heck of a game.

Give me Pikeville 62-58. Valley hasn’t won a district title in 10 years and they will add to the streak tonight. Should be a great game at a great atmosphere.
