This is almost hard to believe that a school would fire this man.  After uprooting his entire family, coaching staff, and taking this sorry school to the regional championship game knowing they were trash the year before.  Therefore you know the kids were by'n into what they were doing there.   One of the better men in the sport to have around kids.   Then people wonder why there is no loyalty in the game anymore.  Just insane you would not give the man 3 to 5 years after going to regional championship.  SMH

None of this makes sense. There are plenty of places across the state where politics can come into play with decisions like this, but in the Hardin County & Elizabethtown school systems?

You’re talking about a county that has around 125K total population, 5 high schools counting Fort Knox (Elizabethtown Independent + North Hardin, Central Hardin and John Hardin as part of HCS). I say that to say this.

…I can’t remember the last time a coach, of any sport, at any of these schools was shown the door even after 2-4 years at a minimum, let alone after the first year.
