For the 2nd year in a row William Byron wins the Daytona 500. Also, Jimmy Johnson finished 3rd in the race. Amazing! It is also Rick Hendricks 10th Daytona 500 breaking a tie with Petty Motor Sports for most all-time.

Jimmie Johnson finishing 3rd is awesome! If I looked right he's just scheduled to run one more race this year. With a finish like this that might change though and throw in another one or two lol
Several years ago I saw Johnson win the Brick Yard 400 at Indianapolis. He blew a tire shortly after the race started and went a lap or two down. He got the lucky dog a time or two, made his way back on the lead lap. Kept working his towards the front and won the thing!
