Pikeville at 1 is arguably true but I’d still have MC above them. Paintsville is not better than JC. Central is one of the best teams in the region talent level and when they can put it all together they have a chance to win it all.

“Worst take I’ve ever heard on this site.” is a MASSIVE stretch. This was their 4th game in 5 days. They just took down a SV team that had Pikeville down late on their home court earlier this week. Betsy Layne’s game at Pikeville was rough, it was the evening after a very tough physical battle at Pburg. 

Time will tell, but they’re rolling in the right direction at the right time.

They’re not a Top 3 team in the region.  The 3 are Martin Co, Johnson Central and Pikeville with Paintsville knocking.  SV, PC and BL are the dark horses, nobody else has chance in hell of winning the region.

Why has Betsy Layne scheduled two games against Ligon Cogo? Saw on the KHSAA site they are scheduled to play them at home again, they already played once. Odd to schedule them twice unless you want to pad your victory total.

The asst coach for BL that was into it with the head coach. After halftime buzzer the asst coach and someone at scorer table were talking to the head coach and one of his players as they were headed to locker room were into it for some reason. Fans came down from both stands the coaches separated the situation nothing even happened besides talk. 
Not the first incident from BL sideline this season. Good game overall from BL guards had their way in the second half and overtime.

but from being at the game you can watch SV head coach turn to BL and try to come over on them.
and if you watch wymt the video of the head coach from valley is in the face of a guy with a white shirt on that’s a highschooler from the pep section.

Saying their not top 5 like they aren’t a contender is crazy,  recently beat valley after playing 3 games in 4 days down 17 to make a comeback while a kid hitting 9 3s

You clearly see SV coach and the BL coaches talking and being separated but never fighting walking away toward locker room talking continued between both sides and they were separated to their locker rooms.

No one is starting rumors. In what part did I say anyone got in a fight or anything of the nature? I said the coach went towards Betsy Layne locker room and was arguing with coaches and then a student. I asked what caused the issue? 
you’re right reality is different it depends on which side is viewing it. I can’t post the video or I would, I’m sure it’s on wymt but the boy in the white shirt he is arguing with at the end and is pointing at him telling him he’s not the one,  Is a highschool student. Yes nothing may not came from this you’re right but anyone can agree it’s not very professional of a coach to do. I can excuse players they are still kids, but coaches are supposed to lead by example.

I don’t blame SV staff for taking up for their kids. 



Which is why it’s odd the BL Asst’s were yelling and talking to players before half and at the half specifically #55 the Hamilton kid every possession. Might be why the entire issue began. SV coach going to locker room not speaking to anyone until the BL assistant's continue talking to his players.

The SV coach was told multiple times to move off the court. Don’t know much on the valley players saying anything. But I do know for a fact the coach from valley was talking on the sidelines, telling the Bl players to cry cry cry cry about it, among other comments. From what I was told an ast coach from Bl said something to their own players and SV  coach over heard it and made a smart comment and tempers flared, but did you see Bl coaches go to their locker room or anything like that? 

and I apologize I shouldn’t have stated fight since one did not take place, but anytime I have been told “im not the one” usually means you are ready to fight.

Honestly I think Martin County may have peaked too early and might be vulnerable of an upset in the region tournament.

I think it’s hard to justify who’s top 5 because all 6 of those teams can beat each other any given night. It’s just going to come down to who shows up to play at the right time. 
i think pikeville if they are all in sync is the top spot tho forsure just with overall depth and talent.
