Jc at MC in this Valentine's Day game. This is a huge game for both teams. JC is playing some of their best game right now and MC are looking for redemption after that loss at Central. To be completely honest, it's hard to get a win at MC.  I watched the Paintsville/MC game last night and MC looks out of sync. What is everybody's thoughts?

This game has a lot riding on in regard to the 1 seed in the district. If JC wins they've pretty much locked in the 1 seed, but if Martin Co wins, that would obviously throw a wrench into things.

Johnson Central 4-1
Martin Co 3-2
Paintsville 4-2 (shows 4-3 but the loss to Martin Co in the ALL A Championship doesn't count as a district game)

Paintsville has beaten Central & Martin Co.
Central has beaten Paintsville & Martin Co.
Martin Co. has beaten Paintsville and will have the chance to beat Central Friday.

So lets say Martin Co wins Friday, would RPI determine the 1 seed? Just curious how that would play out.

I had the same thought STAT. These teams are so well balanced that all of them being 4-2 would just make sense. I think JC is playing as well as they have all year, but it is really hard to win at Martin County. Their backs are kind of against the well and because of that I think they end up playing well to pull this one out at the end.

I think JC is playing as well as they have all year, but it is really hard to win at Martin County. Their backs are kind of against the well and because of that I think they end up playing well to pull this one out at the end.

It's crazy that JC had their early season struggles and Martin Co was really rolling during the same time and everyone had them pegged as the 15th region representative for Rupp, this was back in December. Funny how the tides have turned just a few weeks before district. JC is playing great right now, and Martin Co has struggled some as of late, but like you said both teams have something to prove here, JC in the fact that the first win over MC wasn't a fluke, and Martin Co just needs to get a win right now as they've lost 3 in a row. It is hard to get a win over there that's for sure, and it'll be tough yet again tomorrow. 

57th district has always been tough, by far the toughest district in the region for many years now, I'm sure there's been times where you have 2 teams vying for the 1 seed, but to have 3 and it come down to 1 game? Can't recall seeing that happen, just goes to show how tough that district is year in and year out.
