Really tough back-to-back for a young Paintsville team to play Martin County at home and then Pikeville on the road. Hard to get up for big games against rivals on back to back nights.

I don’t think Paintsville has the speed to play with Pikeville. If the panthers play fast they will win by 10+ if not it could be really close.

Paintsville has faired pretty well with the meat of their schedule since last week, had 2 tough district losses but bounced back in a big way with an easy win over Magoffin, and finally getting Martin Co last night.

Pikeville has really started to put it all together after a slow start, several teams playing their best ball at the right time and Pikeville is one of them.

These 2 teams match up pretty even, great size with Woods & Walters. Go to guys who can get you a basket when you really need it in Cole & Onkst. Great guard play and good supporting cast for both teams.

This one has the potential to be back & forth the whole way, whichever team has the ball last type of game. With the momentum Paintsville is riding at the moment, I think they go into Pikeville and steal one.
